Missa pro Patria

(2019)

The album "Missa pro Patria" contains a work composed by Łukasz Farcinkiewicz, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of regaining independence by Poland. World premiere of "Missa pro Patria" took place during the celebration of the National Independence Day in Tarnów, on November 10, 2018.

The artistic idea was to create a thoroughly Polish work, therefore the motifs taken from Polish music literature - polonaises and mazurkas by Fryderyk Chopin and songs: "Boże coś Polskę", "Jak szczęśliwa Polska cała"or "Bogurodzica" - are being mixed up in individual parts of "Missa pro Patria". In the finale part you can hear the motif from "Mazurek Dąbrowskiego".

The album was made in cooperation with great artists. Especially for the needs of this project the "Sinfonia Galicya" Orchestra was created. Its creator is Piotr Tarcholik, the first concert master of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. A whole content of the album was led by a world-class conductor - Alexander Humala.

The recording of the sound material took place in December 2018 at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Music Center in Lusławice. The album has been covered by the media patronage by RMF Classic.

Christmas Time

(2017)

The artistic concept of the album "Christmas Time" was the presentation of the richness and diversity of songs related to the subject of Christmas. Hence, alongside traditional Polish Christmas carols, the most popular Christmas songs in the world were found on the album, along with the choir a string quartet and a wind quintet.

The inspiration for the album was a series of the New Year's concerts, which the Tarnow choir performed with the participation of eminent guests, including the vocal sextet The King's Singers, brass quintet, the Polish Radio Orchestra "Amadeus" and the Vienna Soloists Orchestra. The repertoire of these concerts always referred to the Christmas period. These were unique projects, with a repertoire arranged especially for this occasion. The "Christmas Time" album includes works entirely prepared for the choir "Puellae Orantes" by a young Warsaw composer, pianist and conductor, winner of international composing competitions - Łukasz Farcinkiewicz.

To cooperate in the implementation of the album "Christmas Time", the Tarnów team invited the string quartet "Apotheosis" and "Krakowski Kwintet Blaszany". The recording of the sound material took place on 11, 12 and 13 September at the Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music in Lusławice. The album has been covered by the media patronage by RMF Classic.

The Trail of Strauss

(2014)

On November 13, 2014 at the Tarnowskie Centrum Kultury, during the press conference, the premiere of the CD "The Trail of Strauss", released by the Puellae Orantes choir, took place.
