On August 15, the Girls’ Cathedral Choir ‘Puellae Orantes’ performed a concert at the 47th Festival of Jan Kiepura in Krynica-Zdrój. The concert took place in the church of St. Anthony and was very kindly received by the crowded audience.
Due to the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the band presented a repertoire on the Marian subject, by the masters of various eras, including Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Johannes Brahms, Franz Schubert, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, as well as Polish composers: Miłosz Bembinow and Michał Lorenc.
