On 6 January, in the Christ the King’s Cathedral in Katowice, the choir gave Christmas Carols Concert to promote the album ‘Łukaszewski & Bembinow. Carols and Pastorals’. The concert was dedicated to His Excellency Wiktor Skworc – the Archbishop of Katowice, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of his ordination as a bishop.

The next concert, with the repertoire of carols, took place on 12 January in the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Sosnowiec.

Both concerts were received very warmly by a large audience.

The performers were: The Girls’ Cathedral Choir ‘Puellae Orantes’, the string quartet ‘Airis’.

The conductor – Rev. Władysław Pachota.

The partner of the concerts was TAURON Polska Energia S.A.
