15/01/2012 CONCERT IN THE CONCERT HALL OF THE FRYDERYK CHOPIN UNIVERSITY OF MUSIC IN WARSAW

      The concert took place as a part of the series called Interpretations of Choral Music in the Concert Hall of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music.
      The series has a long tradition and is very popular with the public. In the previous artistic seasons the University hosted many choral teams from academic centres  and music environments of Poland. The concert was titled CHORAL MUSIC OF WARSAW COMPOSERS.


       The programme of the concert consisted of  carols and pastorals from the album ‘Łukaszewski & Bembinow. Corals and Pastorals’ performed by  the  Girls’ Cathedral Choir ‘Puellae Orantes’ and the String Quartet  ‘Dafȏ. The conductors were: Rev. Wadysław Pachota and Miłosz Bembinow.

 
    Large audience of  University professors, students and music lovers received the concert enthusiastically.

Professor Bodgan Gola – the Head of  Faculty of Choral Conducing, while congratulating the performers,  said that the  concert had been a wonderful and unique artistic event.
